    Steve McMillan President and Chief Executive Officer

    Steve McMillan is President and Chief Executive Officer of Teradata and joined our board in June 2020. With more than two decades of technology experience, Steve is a seasoned executive with a track record of transforming enterprise services and product businesses into industry-leading cloud portfolio offerings. To each new position, he brings a relentless focus on driving value for customers and delivering customer satisfaction.

    Prior to joining Teradata, Steve served as the Executive Vice President of Global Services for F5 Networks. There, Steve was responsible for more than half of worldwide operations and achieved significant top-line growth and industry-leading customer satisfaction. Prior to F5, Steve was with Oracle where he served as the Senior Vice President of Customer Success and Managed Cloud Services. Previously, during an extended career at IBM, Steve held increasingly senior leadership positions, driving operations and execution with a consistent record of exceeding revenue and profit targets, business transformation, and collaborative leadership.

    Steve is a published author on technology and management papers, and developed a patent around Cloud Computing. Steve earned a 1st class degree in Management and Computer Science from Aston University in Birmingham, England.

    Hillary Ashton Chief Product Officer

    Hillary Ashton is the Chief Product Officer for Teradata. In this capacity, Hillary leads the global products organization, a diverse team responsible for innovation, product management, engineering and quality, ensuring that our hybrid multi-cloud platform delivers differentiated value to our customers and future customers. Her organization focuses on end-to-end oversight of all technology innovations at Teradata, including defining strategic direction for our hybrid cloud platform portfolio, engineering this strategic direction into high quality products for our customers and delivering a world-class user experience. With a strong grounding in analytics, cloud and leading-edge technologies, Hillary has proven contributions to expanding market share and increasing revenue.

    Prior to Teradata, Hillary served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of PTC’s Augmented Reality (AR) business unit. In this role, she was responsible for all operational aspects of the Vuforia SaaS business and its product lines, including executive leadership and vision, strategy, product management, engineering, sales and marketing. Other roles include serving as SVP of Analytics SaaS solutions at Manthan and as Director, Customer Intelligence at SAS. In each of these positions, Hillary has contributed to expanding market share and increasing revenue.

    A graduate of Franklin & Marshall College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Government, Hillary has been quoted extensively in the press and has spoken at various conferences worldwide. In 2021 and 2019, she was named to the National Diversity Council’s annual list of the Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology. She was also named as one of the Top 100 Women Leaders in Technology of 2021 by Women We Admire. Additionally, Hillary serves an independent member of the board of directors of CentralSquare, a leader in public sector technology.

    Claire Bramley Chief Financial Officer

    Claire Bramley is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Teradata. A member of the company's Executive Leadership Team, she is responsible for leading the functions of finance, information technology, analytics and security, enterprise risk, and operations.

    Claire brings a proven track record of leading large-scale fiscal and operational disciplines, driving financial and strategic planning, and proactive risk management. With extensive senior leadership experience and deep acumen in corporate finance and accounting, as well as excellent knowledge of the technology industry, Claire joined Teradata after serving as Global Controller of HP Inc. There she was responsible for financial controls and compliance, external reporting, and coordinating directly with the company’s Audit Committee. Additionally, she headed HP’s Finance Strategy and Transformation efforts and oversaw Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis.

    Previously, Claire served in roles of increasing responsibility within HP’s finance function, including Head of Finance for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), where she oversaw the company’s $17 billion EMEA business. Claire was also Vice President, Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis at HP, where she supported all business units that, collectively, exceeded $100 billion in revenue. Prior to HP, she served as Acting CFO, Finance Controller and Head of Financial Analysis and Reporting at SSP Group PLC., a leading operator of food and beverage outlets in travel locations worldwide.

    Claire holds a BSc. in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Loughborough, Loughborough, UK. She is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Management Accountant.

    Stephen Brobst Chief Technology Officer

    Stephen Brobst is the Chief Technology Officer for Teradata Corporation. He is widely regarded as an expert in data warehousing and machine learning. He joined the Teradata team in October of 1999 with the acquisition of one the multiple start-up companies that he co-founded. These companies included Strategic Technologies & Systems (acquired by NCR/Teradata), Tanning Technology Corporation (IPO on NASDAQ, and NexTek Solutions (acquired by IBM).

    Previously, Stephen taught graduate courses at Boston University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in both the MBA program at the Sloan School of Management and in the Computer Science departments of both universities. He received instructor of the year award for two of his last five years in the MET Computer Science department at Boston University and continues to guest lecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University, and the Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

    Stephen performed Masters and PhD research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where his dissertation work focused on load-balancing and resource allocation for parallel computing architectures. He also holds an MBA with joint course and thesis work at the Harvard Business School and the MIT Sloan School of Management. Stephen completed his undergraduate work in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in just three years at U.C. Berkeley and was awarded with the highest honor given to a graduating senior in the College of Engineering (Bechtel Engineering Award).

    Stephen is an elected member of the Phi Beta Kappa, Eta Kappa Nu, Tau Beta Pi, Sigma Xi, New York Academy of Sciences, U.C. Berkeley Alumni Scholars Association, and California Scholarship Federation honor societies. He is also a member of the Association for Computing Machinery, IEEE, Society for Information Management, and Computing Professionals for Social Responsibility. Stephen has served as an advisor to the National Academy of Sciences in the area of IT workforce development.

    During Barack Obama's first term he was appointed to the Presidential Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST) where he worked on development of the Big Data strategy for the US government. In 2014, at the height of the Big Data phenomenon, he was ranked by ExecRank as the #4 CTO in the United States (behind the CTOs from Amazon.com, Tesla Motors, and Intel) out of a pool of 10,000+ CTOs for his role in developing defensible technologies and leveraging those technologies to strengthen competitiveness for Teradata Corporation and its clients.

    Stephen has authored numerous journal and conference papers in the fields of data management and parallel computing environments and is an internationally recognized speaker (and practitioner) in the area of breakthrough systems implementation. He holds more than a dozen patents in the area of advanced data management. He co-authored the chapter on “Big Data” for the Handbook of Computer Science (published by the Association for Computing Machinery) and previously co-authored “Building a Data Warehouse for Decision Support” (published by Prentice Hall PTR).

    Stephen has authored 100+ technical articles across a wide range of academic and commercial publications. He is also on the XLDB (eXtremely Large Data Base) working group committee at Stanford University. Stephen is a TDWI Fellow and has been on the faculty of The Data Warehousing Institute (TDWI) since 1996. He teaches courses related to Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Agile Analytics, Real-Time Analytics, High Performance Data Warehouse Design, Future Trends in Analytics, Data Visualization, Capacity Planning, Big Data Exploitation, and Enterprise Information Management.

    Nicolas Chapman Chief Strategy Officer

    Nicolas Chapman is Teradata’s Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). In this capacity, Nicolas is responsible for working collaboratively across the organization to develop Teradata’s strategic plan, our annual operating plan, and as well as the ongoing measurement and refinement needed to achieve our strategic goals. Additionally, his team ensures that strategic actions are completed to achieve desired results.

    In his most recent role as SVP of Strategy at Imperva Inc., an enterprise cyber security software and services company, Nicolas successfully led a team to help transform Imperva into a world-class, highly profitable growth company. Prior to that, Nicolas held leadership roles at McKinsey & Company, helping technology companies around the world execute successful business turnarounds.

    During his time with Imperva and McKinsey, Nicolas was actively involved as an executive sponsor for various inclusion communities. Fluent in French, Chinese & Hungarian, Nicolas has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Relations & Economics from the University of Toronto and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He currently resides in San Diego.

    Todd Cione Chief Revenue Officer

    Todd Cione is Chief Revenue Officer for Teradata. In this role, Todd is responsible for the company’s global go-to-market strategy and execution, including worldwide sales, consulting and go-to-market operations organizations to meet and exceed growth objectives.

    Todd is a seasoned business executive, with more than 25 years of experience in global sales, marketing, channel, and operations at large multi-national technology organizations. He is a results-oriented executive with a proven track record of delivering predictable and profitable growth, and has successfully led organizations through cloud-based transformations.

    Todd most recently served as Head of U.S. Enterprise Accounts at Apple Inc., a role he held since 2017. Previously, he was SVP of Oracle’s Digital, North America Applications, and also served as Chief Revenue Officer of Rackspace. Additionally, Mr. Cione spent 15 years at Microsoft where he held roles of increasing responsibility in the U.S. and Asia, including General Manager, Asia Pacific Region Marketing & Operations, a market with over $4 billion in revenue, and General Manager and Managing Director, Asia Pacific Region Enterprise & Services Sales. During his tenure at Microsoft, Todd was an integral contributor to the Company’s transition to the cloud and helped launch Azure and Office 365 in U.S. and Asian markets.

    Todd holds a BA in English and Business from Baylor University with continuing executive education at INSEAD’s Asian International Executive Program and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Gallup Leadership Development Program.

    Kathy Cullen-Cote Chief Human Resources Officer

    Kathy Cullen-Cote is Teradata’s Chief Human Resources Officer. In this role, she is responsible for the corporation’s talent strategies and programs and leads a global team of human resource professionals responsible for talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, equity programs, employee engagement and retention, and employee relations. Additionally, she oversees Teradata’s talent management as well its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion program.

    With more than 30 years of experience in all facets of human resources, Kathy is a skilled leader in building a robust and caring culture of employee engagement, creating and guiding execution of human resources programs that focus on diversity, equity and inclusion and enhance the employee experience.

    Kathy joined Teradata from PTC, a Boston-based software company, where she was serving as EVP and Chief Human Resources Officer. At PTC, she served in HR roles of increasing responsibility as she guided the organization’s growth through cultural transformation programs, global employee engagement initiatives, diversity, equity and inclusion, as well as the implementation and adoption of cutting-edge HR systems. Prior to PTC, she served in HR leadership roles at Johnson and Johnson, Raytheon, Imark Communications and Barry Controls. Kathy was awarded the 2018 Bob Gatti HR Leadership Excellence Award.

    Michael Hutchinson Chief Customer Officer

    Michael Hutchinson is Chief Customer Officer for Teradata, and a member of the Company’s Executive Leadership Team. Hutchinson is responsible for leading Teradata’s Global Customer Services organization. This customer-centric business unit is chartered to drive optimal customer experiences and maximize customer value.

    Hutchinson is an experienced leader with an extensive sales and services background, and a strong focus on growing cloud services globally. He brings a stellar track record of delivering against both financial and customer satisfaction targets. He is known for building strong and enduring customer relationships that help support long term business goals.

    Hutchinson joined Teradata in June 2021 as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Customer Success, Consulting and Renewals, responsible for defining the Company’s global customer success strategy, maximizing and documenting customer realized business value, and yielding world-class customer net promoter score, retention and use case expansion.

    Prior to joining Teradata, Hutchinson served at Verint, including as SVP & Chief Customer Officer where he led the delivery of all post-sales services across Cloud Operations and Security, Customer Success, Professional Services, Product Support and Managed Services. Prior to Verint, Hutchinson served at Oracle for nearly 30 years in numerous roles of increasing responsibility, culminating in Global Vice President, North America Customer Success.

    Hutchinson holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Kansas, and is based in Atlanta.

    Molly Treese Chief Legal Officer

    Molly Treese serves as Chief Legal Officer for Teradata, and is a member of the Executive Leadership Team.

    As Chief Legal Officer, Molly leads Teradata’s global Law Department, overseeing all legal affairs of the company and guiding its Ethics & Compliance function. She additionally serves as Corporate Secretary, responsible for managing the integrity of Teradata’s governance framework and serving as a liaison to Teradata’s Board of Directors and shareholders.

    For more than 20 years, Molly has counseled board and executive leadership on strategic corporate initiatives and transactions, regulatory and compliance matters, corporate governance, and commercial contracting. She has provided expert legal counsel to Teradata prior to, during and after its formation as a public company in 2007. Prior to that, Molly held in-house legal positions of increasing responsibility at NCR. She began her career as an attorney in private practice in Washington, DC and New York City.

    Molly earned a law degree from the George Washington University Law School, received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program of Harvard Business School.

    Jacqueline Woods Chief Marketing Officer

    Jacqueline Woods is Teradata’s Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team. Woods is the company’s chief storyteller and guides all aspects of marketing and communications, including strategic marketing planning and delivery, advertising, brand and reputation management, digital and social properties, as well as customer generation, influencer marketing, public relations, industry relations, events, corporate communications and creating enriching customer experiences.

    Woods is a results-driven technology and marketing executive known for leading corporate transformations and leveraging modern marketing approaches that utilize data and insights to accelerate business outcomes. Recognized for her track record in successfully growing businesses, Woods’ experience covers both business-to-business and business-to-consumer initiatives.

    Woods joined Teradata from NielsenIQ where she was a member of the executive leadership team and Global Chief Marketing & Communications Officer, leading the revitalization of the company’s brand, image, and perception. Previously, Woods was with IBM for nearly 10 years, including as CMO of IBM Global Partner Ecosystem Division, where she focused on building cloud, Data, AI and SaaS strategies. She also led strategy, marketing, communications, and offering management as the CMO of IBM Global Financing. Before that, she was Global Head of Customer Segmentation & Customer Experience at General Electric. Woods also held roles of increasing responsibility at Oracle for 10 years, as well as leadership roles at Ameritech and GTE.

    Woods serves on the Board of Directors for Winnebago Industries, the Board of Trustees for Community Reinvestment Fund USA, and the board of the Greater Fairfield County Foundation, Inc.

    Woods holds a BS from the University of California, Davis, and an MBA from the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California. She is profiled on the list of CMOs to watch in 2022 by the CMO Alliance, a globally renowned collective.
