Vantage uses Amazon S3 for backups, an object storage service that offers industry-leading scalability, data availability, security, and performance. Amazon S3 is used to store and protect any amount of data while organizing and configuring finely-tuned access controls to meet specific business, organizational, and compliance requirements. Amazon S3 is designed for 99.999999999% (11 nines) of durability and is the most supported cloud storage service anywhere. The integration between Vantage and AWS means users can simply query Amazon S3 data from the AWS data warehouse without first moving the data into Vantage.
