36 Cloud Sessions at Teradata Analytics Universe

36 Cloud Sessions at Teradata Analytics Universe
I’m pleased to share that there will be 36 cloud-related sessions at Teradata Analytics Universe** taking place October 14-18 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is a 20% increase over the number of cloud sessions we had in 2017. Woo hoo!

Thirty six sessions give attendees plenty of opportunity to hear customers talk about what they are doing with Teradata in the cloud – including Teradata IntelliCloud, our as-a-service offering for analytics at scale, as well as our Do-it-yourself Deployment options for Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure infrastructure.

[Be sure to check out our recent Azure blog post and AWS blog post to learn about our latest as-a-service and do-it-yourself updates in those environments.]
The 36 cloud sessions at Teradata Analytics Universe include customer presentations from:
  • Bayer
  • BevMo!
  • Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)
  • Deutsche Telekom
  • Expedia
  • Ford
  • Meijer
  • Office Depot
  • Qualcomm
  • SANDAG
  • Ticketmaster
  • U.S. Air Force
  • Verizon Wireless
Of note, there are four Cloud Analytics Experience sessions that bracket the main event on Sunday, October 14 and Thursday, October 18. Each three-hour, hands-on session is focused exclusively on helping participants get the most from Teradata with AWS or Azure via instruction on provisioning, managing workloads, and analyzing data. We’ve got a solid agenda and are excited to share how easy and powerful it is to deploy, use, and scale Teradata in the cloud.

As you can see from the list of organizations above, Teradata customers represent a broad cross-section of industries including:
  • Communications
  • Defense
  • Government
  • Healthcare
  • Manufacturing
  • Retail
  • Travel
  • and many more.
Indeed, this is the case with Teradata in the cloud in general: powerful, advanced analytics capabilities are applicable across a broad set of use cases too:
  • Production analytics
  • Test and development
  • Quality assurance
  • Disaster recovery
  • Data marts / Data labs
  • Discovery analytics

Come see it all for yourself! There’s much to see, do, learn, and experience with Teradata in the cloud.

So, if you haven’t done so already, please:
  1. Register to attend Teradata Analytics Universe
  2. Book your flight and hotel room – arrive by Sunday, leave no earlier than Thursday
  3. Discuss your objectives and priorities with your Teradata account team
  4. View the session catalog, search on “cloud”, and start mapping out your agenda
We hope to see you in La$ Vega$, baby. Give us a shout if you have any questions or want to book a meeting during or after the show with one of our cloud subject matter experts.

Cheers,
Brian
